Amanda Barlow James
Originally from North Carolina, Amanda received a degree in paralegal studies and worked in the legal field. After seeing how an improperly handled real estate transaction could result in litigation and long-term burdens on the consumer and having her own negative buying experience, Amanda decided to change careers.
Amanda has served sellers and buyers in the Fort Bragg, North Carolina area and continues advocating for others in the Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri area.
Currently servicing the mid-Missouri area, Amanda also assists in the sale or purchase of properties in: St. Robert, Waynesville, Crocker, Dixon, Laquey, Richland, Plato, Rolla, Camdenton, and Lake Ozark.
A proud member of the Realty Executives Fort Leonard Wood family, Amanda values the opportunity to exceed her client's expectations.
"I think it's important to realize that working in your client's best interest not only means treating your client with respect, but also other agents and lenders. It is possible to effectively advocate and tactfully negotiate terms without having to feed your ego. I won't overinflate myself or give unrealistic expectations just to win someone's business. I respect my client's time and energy just as much as I do my own." - Amanda Barlow James
Amanda received the Million Dollar Producer (2020) award in North Carolina, the Circle of Excellence Award (2021) in Missouri, and the Military Relocation Professional certification from the National Association of Realtors.
Outside of real estate, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, gardening, and traveling with her husband and dogs.
